This afternoon, we went to a board game café that I found, La Récréation! My youngest especially likes playing board games, so this was a fun outing. We ended up playing a game called Métro (of course), which is all about connecting different metro stations in Paris. And I won, yay! A good time was had by all, though, and we had a nice soup and sandwich, too. We’ll definitely head back there.

A board game cafe?! Never heard of such a thing. Sounds sun!

Yes! There are 2 or 3 in town, but the others are a bit more out of the way for me; there’s also a board game Pub, but I can’t bring the kids to that one. 😉

This looks fun! Is it similar to Tsuro (with a more Richard-appropriate theme?)

Yes, looks like! I almost got Tsuro on the iPad last night; worth it?

We like it. It’s not a super complex game so not sure how well it would hold up for single player replayability.

That’s really neat! I’m curious if there’s anything like that in my area…
